SPORTS ARE BACK!

SPORTS ARE BACK!

The Eagles kick off their regular season opener this past Friday night against Covenant Christian School. The Junior Varsity took to the floor first for the 5:30 match up against the lions. The Eagles were led by Giuliana Bonasara's offensive firepower in set one to ignite the Eagles offense. In set number two it was Allie Del Toro's serving that propelled the Eagles to a 1-0 start on the season.

The second game featured the varsity squads of both teams. The Eagles came out again hitting on all cylinders, but it wasn't enough to overcome the lion's defensive prowess. The Eagles would struggle in set number two and put themselves in trouble down 2-0 going into set number three. The Eagles and Lions would go back in the third, but again the lions were too much for the Eagles to handle. Coach Yesmina said after the game, "We had bright moments, and we had some learning moments tonight."

Up next for the JV will be on Thursday when they host the next door neighbors of Port St Lucie High School at 5:oo pm.

Up next for the Varsity squad will be Tuesday as they take on the Trail Blazer's of Liberty Baptist at 6:oo pm.
