English, History, & Spanish

I am glad to be joining the faculty at Morningside Academy. I am grateful for the opportunity to be at a Christian school and share my faith with students. This year I will teaching English 6-7, World Geography, and Spanish I and II. I have a varied background teaching in public and private education in different subjects such as television production, mass media, student council, and English. I am a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University where I received my B.A. in communications and minors in English and Education. I am also currently enrolled in Calvin Theological Seminary taking distance course to obtain my Masters of Divinity.

I love to spend time with my family. I have two young children, Johnathan and Benjamin, and my wife, Libna, who also teaches Spanish. Having taught media in the past, I am a movie buff and enjoy watching and discussing movies. I am a fan of C.S. Lewis and JRR Tolkien and consider them my favorite authors.

My favorite verse is Psalm 46:10, "Be still and know that I am God; I will exalted among many nations, I will be exalted in the earth."
