About Me: Mrs. Russell
This year I am very excited to be teaching K-12 Spainsh. I am originally for Colombia, South America. For the last seven years I have taught Spanish as a second language in Chrisitan schools. I am very blessed to be at Morningside Academy for the second year (first at the lower school). My husband, Dorran, and I have been married for ten years and have two children at Morningside in 1st and 3rd grades. Through prayer and faith the Lord has directed my family to Morningside Church and Academy. As a Christian teacher, my purpose is to reflect Christ in all I do and teach with excellence and under His influence in a way the students can grow in the spiritual and academic areas. Morningside is the perfect environment to accomplish this goal. My passion is windsurfing, but now my focus is playing games with my children and their interests. My favorite chapter in the Bible is the 23rd Psalm.
