About Me: Mrs. Mateer
I was born and raised in northeast Ohio and graduated from Youngstown State University. My husband and I have been married for 21 years and moved to Florida in 1994. God has blessed us with three wonderful and amazing children. We have been involved in various ministries at Morningside over the past 12 years - nursery, youth ministry, hospitality team, choir, and Family Night Live. Five years ago, the Lord told me to step out in faith. As a result, I am entering my fifth year teaching at Morningside Academy, and I am more blessed each year! My heart is to share my love of the Lord and my love for learning with everyone!
My favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 33:3, "Call to me, and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know."
