Science (6-8)

I am entering my 8th year here at Morningside Academy.  My husband of 37 years, Jim, and I were drawn to Morningside when we moved into the area.  I graduated from Northwestern State University in Lousiana with a BS in Upper Elementary Education.  I appreciate the family atmosphere here at Morningside.  (We have 3 sons and 6 grandchildren). I love collecting sea shells and snorkeling as well as finding different places to take the grandchildren. 

This year I will be teaching 6 - 7 grade Bible, 6 - 7 grade Study Skills along with 6 - 8 grade Science. I enjoy watching the students growing both intellectually and spiritually and an committed to helping them as best I can and as long as the Lord gives me strength.

I have been reminded lately of Isaiah 55:8-9: "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."
