My name is Linda Borgia and I am excited to be teaching 1st Grade at Morningside Academy this year. I would like to give you some information about my family and me so you can be acquainted with me both personally and professionally. I am married to Martin Borgia, and we have three children. We are originally from Canada and speak both French and English. Our two older children graduated from Morningside Academy and our youngest is a senior this year. We are blessed to have our children attend this wonderful Christian school with a high standard of education, caring teachers, and true Christian teaching.
In 1983, I graduated from University of Winnipeg in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. While in Canada, I taught a variety of grade levels with the majority of my experience in fifth and sixth grades. I also taught English as a second language to adults and high school students. We moved to West Palm Beach in July 2000 where I taught 4th grade for six years at a Christian school.
I had the privilege of teaching third grade here at Morningside Academy for the past two years. I have greatly enjoyed teaching at Morningside Academy. Seeing the children's enthusiasm in learning is such an inspiration to me as a teacher. My goal is to give each child the opportunity to grow academically as well as spiritually, in a loving, caring atmosphere. I am looking forward to a successful and enjoyable school year in First Grade this year!
