About Me: Mr. Stone
Following God’s leading on our family, we are excited to join the Morningside ministry. I will be teaching Bible, History and serving as Athletic Director for the Academy. I am looking forward to coaching the varsity boys basketball team. I taught Bible, History, and Physical Education at High Point Academy for 25 years. I coached the varsity boy’s basketball team for 22 years and served as Athletic Director for 18 years. My summers were spent as Program Director for High Point Camp.
I love to spend time with my family. My wife, Lois, and I have four boys, Derek, who lives in Fort Lauderdale, Brad, who remained in Pennsylvania, Kyle, who is in his last year at Liberty University and Jordan, who is a junior at Morningside Academy. As a family we enjoy sports, the outdoors, the beach, and supporting the Philadelphia teams.
At the age of 8 years old, I put my trust in Jesus Christ. I committed my life to serve Christ at the age of 15. The desire of my heart is to serve and glorify God in all things. My life verse has been Galatians 2:20, "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
