Greetings! I am thrilled to be on this education journey with you as the Lower School Principal. I live in
Port Saint Lucie with my husband and daughter, one feisty cat, and two adorable guinea pigs. Prior to
living in Port Saint Lucie, we first lived in Tampa then moved to Minnesota (for 11 very cold years). We
moved back to sunny Florida in 2016. In my spare time you will find me out to eat with my family, baking
cupcakes or cookies, or singing along to whatever song is on the radio. You will also see me on the
Morningside Church worship team.
I started teaching in 2004 in Kindergarten and since then have worked with children from infants up to
5 th grade. I graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2004 with a Bachelors of Arts in Early
Childhood Education. While living in Minnesota, I worked in school administration as an Operations
Coordinator. I also started working on my Masters degree. In 2016, shortly before moving back to
Florida, I graduated a second time with my Masters of Education from the University of Minnesota. I
currently hold my FACCS certifications in both Elementary teacher as well as Administration.
I am passionate about strengthening families by helping them create meaningful and positive
relationships within the family setting. I am excited to be a part of Morningside Church’s desire to raise
up children and families that glorify God and minister to others.
